Wellness Pointe and many regional businesses and agencies recently came together for the biggest family-oriented health fair South Bay has ever seen. Held at 1007 East Marshall Avenue the event featured not only health-centered screenings, functions and materials, but also dry and water slides for children, face painting, horse shoes, prize giveaways and live bands. More than 125 students enjoyed their graduation ceremonies at the North Grenville District at Carson Cvic Center last Tuesday, June 29. As students arrived at the city center early to collect their graduation hats and gowns, commencement organizers were busy getting the school’s gymnasium ready for the evening. The California State Regulation for Phlebotomy Tech

The state of California, as of April 9, 2003, has implemented certification requirements for those who currently practice phlebotomy, or wish to do so. All phlebotomists and students must take a California approved phlebotomy course, and upon completion, pass a national exam.
