American University of Medical Technology (here for referred to as AUMT) is located in 3 different cities in Southern California. The Carson Site is located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles at 20720 S. Leapwood Ave Unit A, 90746. AUMT Ontario Site is located in Ontario, California, next to Ontario City Airport, San Bernadino County. California. 3rd Location is located at Victorville California, near The Desert Spring Hospital. AUMT was granted institutional approval from The Bureau for Private Postsecondary & Vocational Education (BPPVE) pursuant to California Education Code Section 94311. The Bureau’s approval certifies that the institutional and its operations meet the minimum standards established under the law for occupational instruction by Private Postsecondary Educational Institutions.Education and training at American Univesity of Medical Technology are directed toward preparing students to:
The School Objectives
- To provide up-to-date curricula and instruction which are responsive to employers’ needs, student’s interests, and state and national performance standards.
- To provide the students opportunity to acquire the skills that will enhance their employment opportunities in the workplace such as developing and using technical craft, organizing and analyzing information, solving problems, acting professionally, using patient based customer service, and developing and using interpersonal communications, self-discipline, and confidence.
- To provide a faculty of mature and competent industry professionals who posses skills and enthusiasm for teaching and a concern for students and their educational progress.
- To provide an academic atmosphere of structure and professionalism that will bring out the best effort of the student.
- To use student assessment results to review and improve curricula, instructional practices, and school environment.
