School Facilities and Equipments
Equipment for the technical nature of the program is provided in the work areas, namely x-ray units and processors. Radiographic phantoms and badges are provided for safety. A mock patient examining room as well as medical assisting classroom along with a computer lab is also a part of the teaching facility.
A lounge area is provided for students to use before and after class. A resource center composed of books, periodicals, and reference manuals, to support the courses offered in the various fields, is provided. Students and faculty utilize the resource center. The students are encouraged to check out books. The front office staff manages the Library resources.
The building is equipped with heating and air conditioning systems. Lighting of the classrooms is excellent. The building is free from distracting noises. Entrances and exits are located so that the building can be cleared quickly and safely in an emergency. AUMT's premises are wheel chair accessible (i.e., doorways, restrooms,) Vending machines are available for student and staff use and there are several fast food restaurants near by.
Parking isavailable in the school parking lot and there is additional street parking.
The maximum number of students per instructor is 40.
